The Easy Recipe For Feeling Good
The Easy Recipe For Feeling Good
The Easy Recipe For Feeling Good
By Nancy Kelsey Smith
If you are like most of us, you are getting by with very little exercise, a diet which is missing a great many of the things that promote good health and too few hours of sleep. Those three things can add up to problems which affect most areas of our lives. It can seem like a vicious cycle I know, because when you do not get enough sleep at night, the last thing you feel like doing is exercising in the morning. That, however is probably the exact thing that we should do. Exercise gets the heart pumping and the blood flowing and brings color to our cheeks and vigor to our step. It burns away some of those unwanted calories that we gave into and improves our metabolism so that calories continue to be burned even after we have concluded our exercise.
As if that were not enough, it also makes us feel a whole lot better. Some people find that it does not work well for them to exercise in the morning and opt instead for an evening workout or whenever they can fit it into their day and that is fine. The key is consistency. Most people agree that it does help to find a time for exercise that works for them and then stick to that time as much as possible. People tend to do well with routines for the most part so making your exercise a daily routine is the best idea.
Then there is that lack of sleep that was mentioned earlier. That is another thing that can be improved with exercise. When we fatigue our bodies and clear out minds (which is another great benefit of exercise) sleep usually comes more naturally and more easily to us. For most people, exercise is a much better cure for insomnia than taking some type of pill and typically has no side affects, unless you overdo it and suffer with sore muscles.
When we are sleeping better and working out to improve the way our bodies feel we also reap the benefit of looking better as well. It just all kind of falls into place. When we are looking better and feeling better we typically want to keep it that way so we are less likely to sabotage ourselves by consuming diets that destroy all of our hard work. It fits together like a puzzle.
It is discouraging to be out of shape and without energy but it is important to know that those conditions can be tackled with a bit of effort and some will power. By making a few simple changes in your day to day routine, you can see some amazing and wonderful results which can greatly improve the quality of your life
