Studies have shown that green tea can help the body burn fat and boost metabolism. It is believed that the polyphenols found in green tea are the main reason it is associated with fat burn. Keep in mind that it is best avoid relying on green tea extract for weight loss alone. To take advantage of the fat burn and metabolism benefits associated with this tea, it is ideal to use it in combination with both diet and exercise. This will help ensure that the best possible results can be seen. Diabetes May be Prevented by Green Tea Extract Green tea is believed to be very beneficial for diabetics who need to keep their blood sugar under control. It is thought to help prevent type 1 diabetes from developing. Borderline diabetics may benefit from taking green tea extract, according to a few studies.
